  • Direct retail banking in the Eurozone is focusing on saving products to retail customers. It is managed and supported by a multilingual contact centre in Frankfurt
  • Romania is operating as retail and commercial bank, offering a wide range of services to retail customers and enterprises.
  • Ukraine is active in corporate, commercial and SME banking from one centralized office
  • Switzerland focuses on private banking and portfolio management.
  • Marine Finance is supported from the Malta branch.


Corporate banking

From our headquarters in Amsterdam, as well as from most of our subsidiaries and branches, ForestGreen Cooperate Bank offers a wide range of tailor-made corporate banking products, focusing on commodity trade finance and marine finance. Commodity trade finance products are provided from three specialized desks:

  • Metals and minerals
  • Oil, petrochemicals and derivatives
  • Agri products: soft commodities and fertilizers

ForestGreen Cooperate Bank focuses on traditional banking, international commodity finance and building its expertise in metals, energy and petrochemicals, fertilizers and soft commodities. It also offers project finance, marine finance and working capital lending, worldwide.

ForestGreen Cooperate Bank is a niche player in structured trade finance, being one of around 20 boutique trade finance houses in the world, with tailor-made products and solutions. Clients are serviced mainly from the Amsterdam office.

By concentrating on straight-forward, short-term, self-liquidating trade and commodity finance business, and by relying on the prudence of its collateralization policy, ForestGreen Cooperate Bank has generated steady growth in its transaction volumes, even during recent uncertainties on the international financial markets.

Direct retail banking in the Eurozone

ForestGreen Cooperate Bank Branch Germany (Frankfurt) is the center of operations for all retail banking activities in Western Europe. From here, the Western European Retail Banking Division serves around 180.000 clients in Germany and the Netherlands. The Division emphasizes on offering simple, straight-forward and easy to understand saving products.

Product features are based on customers’ needs and profiles. Services and activities of the Western European Retail Banking Division are supported by a multilingual customer contact center focusing on inbound call handling as well as outbound telemarketing, product development, marketing, human resources, compliance and legal and back office operations.


Banking outside the Eurozone

We are steadily establishing a long-term presence in selected countries, such as Romania, Switzerland and Ukraine. ForestGreen Cooperate Bank aims to further consolidate its position in key markets, building on its successful performance over the last few years.

ForestGreen Cooperate Bank has been active in Romania since 1993. It is currently one the largest provider of credit cards. ForestGreen Cooperate Bank Romania is also a dominant player in the field of mortgages and housing loans.

ForestGreen Cooperate Bank started greenfield operations in Ukraine in 2007 and is active in corporate, commercial and SME banking.

In Switzerland, ForestGreen Cooperate Bank focuses on trade finance, private banking and asset management.

In Istanbul, Turkey, the Bank has a Representative Office, conducting market research, liaising with local and foreign contacts and representing ForestGreen Cooperate Bank at public events.
